not gonna lie, i just cried watching the tim wakefield conference.
then i read a lot of tweets that referred to him as #thankyoutim, and people who are not even red sox fans, people who HATE our beloved sox, still had the upmost respect for him. thats the type of man tim wakefield is, and has always been, and will continue to be. not only is this season going to be very different without the knuckleball, we are going to lose a leader in every sense of the word.
thanks tim for 17 beautiful seasons.
and if i ever hear aaron boone in the same sentence as tim wakefield i will throw whoever makes the comment off the tobin bridge.
